    Concept presentations

It's almost time for our first set of presentations. Your team will present your two concepts to the rest of the class and the staff during lecture on March 2.

This is an opportunity to share information across teams, for the staff to get a sense of where you're at, and provide feedback.

    This is a team exercise.

    Format

Each team will have 15 minutes to present on two concepts: 5 min/concept + 5 min for Q&A.

    Here's what you should show:

    • Industrial design for the HW node -- what does it look?
    • A wireframe of the web front-end
    • The current block diagram of the HW, FW, and SW
    • Your current specifications, including ones not yet set
    • Results of research, modeling, and prototyping that support your specifications
    • A set of questions that need answering, either from the team, the staff, or the partner. These are the known unknowns.
    • Team roles -- only need to show this once, since it's the same for each concept

    Presentation guidelines

    • You'll present from a staff computer, so make sure your presentation is easy to find in your Google Drive folder.

    • Keep to time! We'll be strict. That means, practice practice practice in advance!

    • It's not necessary for each team member to present. Maybe do one member/concept, or something like that. Too many people transitions will slow you down.

    • Make the slides informative...and visually appealing.
